IUPUI Law School Presenter

Come if you can, and if you can't find a way to get there anyway!!!!! Facetime with the Associate Dean of Admissions for IUPUI. This is a rare opportunity.

From Professor Georgia Ulmschneider, Pre-Law Advisor in the Department of Political Science:

"Angela Espada, Associate Dean of Student Services and Admissions of the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis School of Law, will be making a presentation to students about attending law school on Tuesday, January 30, from noon to 1:15 in Classroom-Medical, Room 120."

If you have thought about law school, this would be a good place to have your questions answered.

Executive Meeting

We will be having an officers meeting on Thursday Oct. 19 from 4-5 in WU227 (the senate conference room).

Article for SPEA alumni

We need an article for our SPEA alumni newsletter. It should be a couple of paragraphs long and include who we are, what we do, number of members, website address, etc. It'll be like a newspaper article so we can include quotes from members and faculty. Anyone want to put this together?

FYE

I've contacted FYE about having Shay speak. I'll have to contact our SPEA FYE instuctor directly, but she's out of town. We can also email out our events and the FYE secretary can email the FYE faculty and students. I need something to send to FYE about who we are and what we'd like to talk about.

Us in a Nut Shell

My name is Aaron Williamson, President of America’s Renaissance the Departmental Student Organization of The School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA). We have three major focuses: to connect people with government, focus on the concentrations of SPEA, and to have fun. The government one is my greatest interest; you can say that I am a bit a-typical. The SPEA concentration part should not be viewed as excluding non-SPEA students. Even if you are not a SPEA major you may find these concentrations interesting. If not, still take advantage of the networking opportunities, we can all stand to have some connections when we are looking for jobs. The fun part, I am not that great with, but we have tons of people who are. Not to mention, if you are good in this area we would always love to have you join and help us even more. Well that is it in a nut shell. If you’re interested e-mail your essentials to ar@ipfw.edu to join or get more information.
